Age-appropriate food scores, heavy metal warnings, and allergen tracking for your little one
Track which allergens your baby has been exposed to. Early introduction (6-9 months) can reduce allergy risk.
A 2021 Congressional report found toxic heavy metals (arsenic, lead, cadmium, mercury) in baby foods from major brands. Rice-based products tend to have the highest levels.
The AAP and LEAP study recommend introducing peanuts, eggs, and other allergens between 4-6 months. Early introduction can reduce allergy risk by up to 80%.
Our Baby Score (0-100) uses stricter criteria than adult scoring. Extra penalties for: honey (botulism risk), artificial dyes (ADHD link), excess sodium, artificial sweeteners.
The WHO and AAP recommend zero added sugar for children under 2. Even "organic cane sugar" counts. Fruit purees naturally contain sugar, which is fine.
